Dr. Zoomie

Dr. Zoomie’s blogs are informed by more than four decades of experience working in radiation safety and nuclear energy in government, academia, the military, and in the private sector. In the course of his career he’s also worked as a radiation safety officer at both a major university and for a few small organizations and has consulted for a variety of clients on projects ranging from natural radioactivity, environmental contamination, uranium enrichment, regulatory compliance, radiation injury, and much more…in addition to occasional work for national and international advisory bodies and professional organizations. All of this has given him a wealth of experience that he brings to the many articles he’s been contributing to this website since 2014.
